First Trip to Mainland South Korea

 Some trips are hard to categorize and place in a "normal" blog format. Here I'll just sorta, unorganizedly (I know that's not a real word) summarize my trip to mainland South Korea.
This is more of an online journal than a professional blog at the moment. 

Jeju Island, A Freedom Camping Paradise

 Perhaps the greatest destination to camp in the world is Jeju Island in South Korea. I mean specifically for long term travelers on a budget of course. Although, I had gotten off to rough start. As a vagabond without a job or source of income at the time, it was my noble goal to explore the developed country without paying for accommodation. My first stop in South Korea was Jeju Island and I was nearing my 1 year of constant world travel anniversary when I arrived.

Beware the Tea Scam!

Nobody fucking warned me. So now I'd like to warn you because this apparently happens a lot.
I was gullible for several reasons. 

I had only been in Shanghai for a couple of days, having just arrived from Taiwan.  Being a foreigner in countries like Taiwan and China can be a little bit difficult if you don't know any Chinese. 
I mean they have a symbol for like every word, it's a much more visually complicated language compared to Almost any other.   

 If any girl walks over and starts talking to you while in The Bund area and if she asks if you want to get tea/coffee or food.. Then immediately tell her to fuck off!

  

China's People Oceans

China's massive crowd's overwhelmed me. However, after travelling around Asia a bit more, I learned there are other "people oceans" in other countries as well. But It was more common in China, The most populated country on the Earth! and After I got there, it was my first time to have seen so much concentration of people!

Yummy Brain Soup

My Taiwanese friend led me into what looked like just another restaurant out of many among the overwhelmingly busy and bustling night market. Nothing was written in English, so I would not have discovered this dish there on my own. Though, someday I'd like to have a lot more symbols memorized. 

Taiwan was a culinary thrill ride for me. I had tried lots of delicious desserts and teas and a few unusual things like blood cake (not the sweet kind of cake) and chicken feet. But brain was my highlight of unusual dining.
